Multiple Telegram accounts with an antidetect browser

Multiple Telegram accounts can run on one computer in separate browser profiles, with one Telegram Web account in each profile. WGBrowser includes a Telegram preset and keeps each profile’s fingerprint, cookies, browser storage, and proxy configuration separate. You can open the profiles you need for different clients or responsibilities and return to the same profile for each account.

Assign an account and an owner to each profile before setting up proxies or sharing access. The browser manages the profile data; sign-in confirmation, session validity, and account permissions are still determined by Telegram Web.

Create a profile for each Telegram Web account

Open Profiles, click New profile, and choose Telegram under Account & 2FA. Enter a recognizable account label, then use the profile name and Note to record the client, purpose, and person responsible. Put different clients in separate groups so the window’s position is not your only way to identify an account.

Each profile keeps its own fingerprint configuration, cookies, and local storage. Multiple profiles can be open together. A new tab within one profile uses that profile’s data, so create a separate profile for another account and keep using the original profile for an existing account.

Set Startup URLs, open the profile, and complete the sign-in process offered by Telegram Web. Saving details in the Account field does not confirm that the website is signed in. Check the identity shown on the page before you start handling conversations.

Check the proxy and exit IP

If accounts need separate network exits, choose a proxy from the library or enter a custom connection for each profile. HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS5 are supported. Check the connection, exit IP, and reported region before opening the account. Enter proxy authentication separately from Telegram account details.

In Fingerprint, Time zone, Language, and Location can use Follow IP. The client checks the proxy exit when the profile opens and applies these settings. Keep a clear account-to-proxy record and run another check after changing a connection; the name of a saved proxy does not establish its current region.

When a page cannot connect, check proxy availability and authentication first. After changing networks or computers, a provider that uses an IP allowlist may need that access condition checked again. Follow the proxy setup guide for the configuration sequence.

Confirm the account before handling messages

When several Telegram windows are open, check the profile name and the account displayed on the page before replying. Return to the matching profile when you need another account. Keeping that association consistent makes the window name, stored account details, and live web session easier to verify together.

Open only the profiles needed for the current work and close them normally when finished. The number of windows you can run comfortably depends on your computer’s resources and the load of the pages. A profile creation allowance is not a promise that every saved profile can run smoothly at once.

Before sending text or files, confirm the recipient inside the selected account. Browser isolation keeps profile data separate; it does not check which client a message belongs to or combine conversations into a shared inbox.

Sync browser data before changing computers

Review the profile’s Sync options before moving to another computer. A web session can depend on more than an account name and password. Cookies sync as they change. Selected LocalStorage, IndexedDB, and other supported storage upload as a snapshot after the profile closes normally; open tabs are saved as a separate URL list.

Finish the current task, close the profile, and wait for uploads to complete. Sign in to the same WGBrowser account on the other computer and open the original profile. The client retrieves cookies and newer storage snapshots. Then check Telegram’s sign-in state and confirm that the proxy still works.

Storage sync depends on your plan’s features and available capacity. Restoring browser data does not guarantee a valid Telegram session, and profile sync is not a chat backup. Complete any sign-in request shown by the website. See cloud sync for data coverage and timing.

Hand a profile to another team member

Within one team, change the member’s authorized groups so the next person can access the original profile. Editing, deleting, exporting, and managing proxies have separate permissions. Before granting access to a client group, check whether it contains other profiles outside the assignment.

Only one device can open a profile at a time. If the previous owner is still using it, the client shows that it is in use. Have that person close the profile and finish syncing before the next member opens it. The recipient should check the profile name, Telegram account, exit IP, and current conversation.

Team access controls the browser profile. It does not automatically change permissions inside Telegram. The team collaboration guide explains group access and permissions.

Transfer a copy to another team

For another account or team, generate a share code or export a .fgbx file. Close the profile and finish syncing first, then choose the cookies and local storage, proxy, and account credentials to include. The recipient should verify the imported data and the website’s actual session state.

A claimed profile is an independent copy. Later edits do not keep syncing with the source, and revoking a code cannot remove a copy already claimed. Agree which person will continue using each copy. See profile sharing for the transfer options.

WhatsApp also has a platform preset for its web version. Use separate profiles, proxies, and ownership notes in the same way, but check its sign-in process and session state independently. Follow each platform’s rules.

FAQ

How do I use multiple Telegram accounts on one computer?

Create one browser profile per account in WGBrowser, select the Telegram preset, and sign in to Telegram Web inside each profile. You can open several profiles at the same time. Check the account displayed in each window before messaging; opening another tab inside an existing profile still uses that profile’s browser data.

Does this work with Telegram Web or the mobile app?

This workflow uses Telegram Web inside separate browser profiles. Each profile has its own fingerprint, cookies, storage, and proxy configuration. It does not create copies of the Telegram mobile app. Complete sign-in and session confirmation using the options currently shown on the web page, then verify the account displayed there.

Will a colleague need to sign in again after a handoff?

That depends on the data synced or included in the transfer and the current Telegram session. Close the source profile normally and wait for sync to finish before the handoff. The recipient should open the intended profile and inspect the website. If Telegram requests another sign-in or confirmation, follow that request.

Can I also use multiple WhatsApp Web accounts?

WGBrowser includes a WhatsApp preset, so you can create a separate profile for each WhatsApp Web account and configure its proxy individually. Use profile names and groups to track ownership. Check WhatsApp’s own sign-in flow and session state separately; a successful Telegram session does not establish that a WhatsApp session is ready.
