Antidetect browser for Mac
An antidetect browser for Mac lets you keep separate browser profiles for stores, advertising accounts and social media accounts on an Apple silicon computer. WGBrowser provides a native build for M1 and later Macs. Each profile keeps its own fingerprint, cookies and proxy configuration, and the same product account works in the Windows client.
Check your Mac's chip before downloading: Intel Macs are not supported. Choose the full edition to create and manage profiles, or Lite when your work only requires receiving profiles prepared by someone else.
Apple silicon support and download
The macOS client is a native Apple silicon application for M1 and later Macs. Confirm the chip in your computer before choosing Download for macOS from the official download section. A model name or purchase year alone may not distinguish an Intel Mac from an Apple silicon model.
The Mac installation package uses Developer ID signing and Apple notarization. After installing the full edition, sign in to your product account. Team members use the account their administrator provided. Start with one profile, configure its platform account and proxy, and inspect the page before moving an entire account set into daily use.
The download section lists the full and Lite editions separately. Select the full edition for profile creation, automation and cross-device sync. Lite is intended to receive existing profiles and store their subsequent browsing data on the receiving computer.
Mac fingerprint templates
When creating a profile, the macOS template generates a coordinated set of Apple silicon device settings. Each profile stores its own User-Agent and Client Hints, WebGL, fonts, screen and other device information. Canvas, audio and ClientRects can use stable noise. The template supplies related values together rather than requiring you to fill every field independently.
A template changes the profile's settings, not the operating system running on your computer. A template for another operating system can differ from the host in fonts or media behavior, and the client displays a warning about those differences. Starting with a template for your current system makes those checks easier to interpret.
Saved profiles reuse their existing configuration. Fingerprint edits require a profile restart to take effect. A browser core upgrade updates the User-Agent version while retaining the seed. See fingerprint settings for the available controls and what to inspect after a change.
Use profiles on Mac and Windows
Sign in to the Mac and Windows clients with the same product account to access profiles you have permission to use. With the required cloud sync options enabled, cookies sync as they change. LocalStorage, IndexedDB and other selected storage are packaged and uploaded when you close the profile normally.
Before switching computers, close the profile on the original computer and wait for sync to finish. Opening it on the destination retrieves cookies and any storage snapshot that needs updating. Only one device can open a particular profile at a time, so resolve an existing occupancy before taking it over elsewhere.
Bookmarks, history and extension data depend on the profile's selected sync options. Restored data does not determine whether a website will accept an expired session or request verification. Check the account, page behavior and proxy exit after the move. The cloud sync guide explains the data scope and closing sequence.
Proxies and exit IP checks on Mac
The Mac client supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 proxies. Bind a proxy from the library or enter a custom proxy in the profile. Check its exit IP before opening the account. Time zone, language and geolocation can follow the exit configuration, and WebRTC can be limited to the proxy or disabled.
Recheck the connection when moving from Windows to Mac or changing networks. If the proxy provider authenticates extraction requests through an IP allowlist, the new computer or network may use a different local exit. Confirm the provider's requirements instead of assuming a saved address will connect from every computer.
For short-lived proxies, use Proxies → Sources to configure an extraction URL or integration script, then select the region and extraction timing for the profile. The proxy setup guide covers the connection fields, authentication and checks to make when the detected exit does not match your expectation.
Window sync and browser automation
For the same manual action across several Mac browser profiles, open Window sync and choose a main window plus the windows that follow it. Clicks, scrolling, keyboard input and committed IME text can be repeated. Arrange the windows and compare their page positions before starting; pause when a page needs individual attention.
Automation plugins run on this Mac with selected profiles, inputs and concurrency. Inspect the results in Runs. Scheduled plugin tasks also require this computer's console to remain open. Cloud sync for profile data does not transfer a local schedule to another computer or cause it to execute there.
For existing code, the Local API returns a CDP address for browser control tools. MCP provides a tool interface for compatible AI assistants. Account permissions and plan rules still apply. Read browser automation to choose an entry point and review the corresponding controls before a batch.
Import profiles and choose an edition
The full edition imports its own .fgbx and JSON exports, supported BitBrowser profile JSON, and generic CSV or flat JSON through field mapping. AdsPower spreadsheets can use the mapping workflow. Check names, platforms, proxies and account fields in the preview, then choose a group and how duplicate names are handled.
Use an .fgbx backup containing the required data when local storage must travel with a profile. JSON does not include local storage, and CSV does not contain a complete fingerprint. After import, check the exit IP and actual website login before accepting the migration as finished.
Lite for Mac accepts share codes with Lite claims enabled and .fgbx files with valid profile credentials. It stores received copies locally and does not provide profile creation, cloud sync, teams, Local API, MCP or automation plugins. The Lite edition guide describes this receiving workflow and its limits.
FAQ
Does this antidetect browser support Intel Macs?
No. The macOS client supports Apple silicon, meaning M1 and later Macs. Check your computer's chip before downloading the native Mac build. A Mac model name or purchase year is not enough to establish compatibility because similarly named models may use different processor architectures. Intel Macs are outside the supported range.
Can I use the same browser profile on Mac and Windows?
Yes, the same product account can access permitted profiles in both clients. Enable the sync options you need, close the profile normally on the first computer and wait for synchronization. Only one device can open the profile at a time. Recheck the proxy exit and website session after opening it on the other computer.
Is the Mac installer signed and notarized?
The Mac installation package uses Developer ID signing and Apple notarization. Get the native Mac build from the official download section and confirm that your computer uses Apple silicon. After installing the full edition, sign in to your product account; a team member uses the account supplied by the administrator.
Can I create profiles in the Mac Lite edition?
No. Lite receives prepared profiles through eligible share codes or .fgbx files containing valid profile credentials, then stores the copies on the current computer. Use the full edition to create profiles, edit fingerprints, synchronize data across computers or use automation. Both editions have separate entries in the download section.
