Antidetect browser password manager and 2FA

An antidetect browser password manager keeps website logins with the browser profile that uses them. In WGBrowser, you can select a saved account from a sign-in field, save or update passwords after logging in, and copy or fill a TOTP code from a stored 2FA secret.

When managing multiple accounts, match the profile to the store, client or social account before filling a form. Platform credentials, saved website passwords and signed-in sessions are separate types of data. The cloud sync page explains how cookies and browser storage carry session data between computers.

Platform account details

Create or edit a profile and open Account & 2FA. Select the platform, then enter Login URL, Account and Password. Name the profile so you can identify the correct account when several windows are open. These fields hold the platform credentials associated with that particular profile.

Inside the profile window, open Workbench and find Platform account. You can use Copy username, Copy password or Fill into this page. In the profile editor, Launch options also includes Fill in the account, which attempts to fill the login page when it loads.

Check what appears in the form before continuing. Some sites ask for the username and password on different pages. If the client reports that no fillable fields were found, copy the required value and enter it manually. Saved credentials help complete the form; the website still determines whether sign-in succeeds.

Save and fill website passwords

After you sign in within a profile window, the password manager can show Save password? Review the site, username and password, then click Save. On a later visit to the corresponding sign-in form, click the field and choose an entry from Saved accounts to fill it.

Choose Never for this site if you do not want to save its password. Saved entries belong to the current profile. If you saved a store login in one profile, return to that profile to find it instead of searching through another account's window.

To manage entries, edit the profile in the console and find Passwords saved in this profile. You can copy a password or delete an entry. Deleting it removes that suggestion from the site's sign-in fields in this profile. Check the website separately to see whether its existing session is still signed in.

Password changes and cloud sync

When a website password changes, the client can show Update password? Confirm the username and choose Update, or choose Not now to leave the saved value unchanged. When the prompt identifies the profile's platform account, updating also changes the platform password shown in the console.

Saved website passwords sync with the profile for use on authorized computers and by team members with access. Passwords supply login form values; cookies and local storage supply session data. During a handoff, check both whether the saved login is correct and whether the website restores its session.

Before switching computers, confirm that the save or update succeeded, close the profile normally and wait for the required sync to finish. If the prompt shows Couldn't save, resolve the error or use Retry. On the receiving computer, verify the profile name and account before using a suggested password.

TOTP secrets and verification codes

The 2FA secret field accepts a base32 TOTP secret or an otpauth link containing a valid secret. Enter the secret used by the account's authenticator, rather than the short one-time code currently requested by the website. Keep the secret associated with the same platform account as the profile.

Once the secret is saved, use Copy code in the console. In the profile window, Workbench → 2FA code offers Copy code and Fill code. If no code field is found, copy and paste the code manually. An invalid-secret message means you should check the stored value in the profile editor.

  1. Edit the intended profile, open Account & 2FA and confirm the platform account before entering its 2FA secret.
  2. Save the profile and check that a code appears. Use Copy code or Fill code on the account's verification page.
  3. Complete an actual sign-in and any additional steps the website requires before assigning the profile to another operator.

Team access to profile credentials

Team members see profiles according to their group access. Assign stores or clients to groups, then give each member access to all groups or selected groups and configure their operation permissions. See team management for member roles and profile access.

Treat passwords stored in a shared work profile as part of that profile's team data. Their access scope is not a separate personal vault belonging only to the person who saved them. Profile editing and exporting are separate permissions; export can include account passwords and 2FA secrets, so review that permission when assigning responsibilities.

Credentials in profile shares and backups

When sharing a profile or exporting a full backup, Passwords and 2FA and Saved site passwords are separate content choices. The first carries the platform account and 2FA secret; the second carries website logins saved by the password manager. Select the data the recipient needs for the intended handoff.

Cookies and local storage do not automatically include both password categories. Check whether the recipient needs the existing session, credentials for a fresh sign-in, or both. Follow the profile sharing guide to review the selected content before creating the handoff.

A recipient using the Lite edition keeps claimed data on their computer, and later changes do not return to the sender's profile. For ongoing work on team-managed profiles and credentials, use the full client's team profiles and their access settings.

FAQ

How do I save a password in an antidetect browser profile?

Sign in to the website inside the intended profile. When Save password? appears, verify the site and account, then click Save. The entry is stored with that profile and syncs with it. On a later visit, click the sign-in field and choose the account from Saved accounts to fill the form.

What is the difference between a platform account and saved passwords?

You enter the platform account in the profile editor under Account & 2FA. Saved website passwords come from choosing Save after signing in within a profile window. Both belong to the profile, but sharing and full backup export provide separate content choices for platform credentials with 2FA and for saved website passwords.

What should I enter in the 2FA secret field?

Enter the account's TOTP secret in base32 format or an otpauth link containing a valid TOTP secret. Do not enter the short verification code displayed by an authenticator. After saving, use Copy code in the console or Fill code in the profile window, then complete the website's verification process.

Can other team members access passwords saved in my profiles?

Saved passwords belong to profiles, and profile visibility follows the team's group assignments. Review which members can access each work profile before storing credentials there. A team profile is not a private vault for its creator. Exporting credentials also requires the corresponding permission, which is separate from access to open or edit a profile.
