Antidetect browser for Shopify stores
An antidetect browser for Shopify stores gives each store a separate browser profile with its own fingerprint, cookies and proxy settings. WGBrowser includes a Shopify platform preset, profile groups and team access controls. Save a profile for each store and reopen it for that store's daily work.
Build a list that connects stores with profiles, exit IPs and responsible team members before setting up sync or handing work over. The browser manages those profiles and their data. The store identity selected on the website, platform permissions and business operations remain under Shopify's control.
Set up a profile for each Shopify store
Choose New profile and select Shopify under Account & 2FA. Enter the store account and give the profile a name that identifies the store and purpose. Use Note for the responsible person or handoff information. If you manage several brands, group profiles by brand so each operator can find the relevant stores.
The available device templates include Windows 10, Windows 11 and Apple silicon Macs. Fingerprint settings are generated from the template and saved with the profile. Each profile has separate cookies and local storage. Keep using the original profile for the same store; a copy that already contains one store's login data needs careful review before being used for another.
Finish one store's setup first. Sign in, check the store identity, close the profile and reopen it to review the saved data. See browser fingerprint settings for the device parameters you can configure.
Configure and check the proxy
For ongoing store operations that use a fixed proxy, assign the connection to the profile and record the detected exit IP. WGBrowser supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. Choose a saved proxy from Library or enter a Custom connection. Check the proxy credentials separately from the store credentials so each goes into the correct fields.
Check the connection and exit region before opening the store. In Fingerprint, set Language, Time zone and Location to Follow IP when appropriate. A saved proxy address can stay unchanged while the provider changes its exit, so check again after a renewal, route change or move to another office network.
To review exit changes before proceeding, enable Launch options → Stop if the IP changed. If the connection fails, inspect the protocol, password, service expiry and allowlist before troubleshooting the store login. Follow the proxy setup guide for the connection checks.
Check the active store in each window
You can open several store profiles at once, and each window retains its own login data. Before editing products, handling orders or changing page settings, compare the profile name with the store shown on the website. Window position alone is not a reliable way to identify the store you are about to edit.
Add frequently used admin pages to Startup URLs so they open with the profile. A startup URL opens a page; the website still determines whether you are signed in and which actions your account may take. If it requests authentication, complete it inside that store's profile before continuing.
For a PayPal or other payment account that needs separate management, create a dedicated profile and record its store assignments and operator. The multi-account isolation guide explains how separate profiles keep browser data apart.
Assign store groups to team members
An administrator creates members and configures roles and visible groups in the web console. Group store profiles by brand, store or client, then give operators access to the groups they handle. When responsibilities change, update group access and keep the existing store profiles. Editing profiles, exporting profiles and managing proxies have separate permissions.
A profile already open on another device shows that it is in use. One device can use that profile at a time. For a shift change, finish the current website operation, close the profile and wait for sync before the next member opens it. A copied profile is separate data and does not replace that handoff.
Profile access controls who can use the browser data. Check Shopify's own account permissions separately to establish what the member can do in the store. Read more about team roles and profile access.
Restore store data on another computer
Open Sync in the profile editor and review the data you need. Cookie changes upload while the profile runs. Selected LocalStorage, IndexedDB and other local data uploads as a snapshot after closing. Open tabs sync their URL list for restoration when the profile opens again. Allow the final upload to finish before leaving the original computer.
Sign in to the same WGBrowser account on the next computer and open the original profile. The client retrieves cloud cookies and a newer storage snapshot when available. Check the profile name, store identity and proxy exit. If the proxy uses an IP allowlist, confirm that it permits the new network.
A restored session is usable only while the website accepts it. If Shopify requests another sign-in or verification, complete that process. The cloud sync page explains data timing and plan conditions.
Review the data included in a handoff
Within the same team, adjust member and group permissions to hand over the existing profile. For another account or team, you can use a share code or export a .fgbx file, subject to the available features and permissions. Close the profile and finish syncing before selecting the data to include: cookies and local storage, proxy details, account passwords and 2FA secrets, or saved website passwords.
The recipient gets an independent copy. Later edits do not keep updating the source profile, and revoking a share code does not retrieve copies already claimed. Record which copy will be used for future work, then check its proxy, store identity and login state on the receiving computer. See profile sharing and transfers for the difference between codes and files. Follow Shopify's rules when operating your stores.
FAQ
Can I open multiple Shopify stores on one computer?
Yes. Create separate profiles for the stores and open each profile with its own fingerprint, cookies and proxy settings. The practical number of open windows depends on your computer's resources and the pages running in them. Check the store shown in each website window before editing products, orders or settings.
Will Shopify stay signed in when I change computers?
Cloud sync can restore cookies and selected local storage once you close the source profile and its uploads finish. Open the same profile on the next computer and check Shopify's login state. Sync restores browser data but does not extend the website's session, so a new sign-in or verification may still be required.
Can two teammates use the same Shopify profile at once?
The same profile can be open on one device at a time. Other members can see that it is in use. For a handoff, the current operator should finish the website task, close the profile and wait for sync, then the next member can open it with the updated browser data.
Should Shopify and PayPal use separate browser profiles?
A profile can open different websites. If you need separate login data, proxy settings or access permissions for a payment account, use a dedicated profile and record which stores it serves. This separates browser data; it does not change the payment account's ownership, its store connections or permissions set by either platform.
