What is an antidetect browser?

An antidetect browser creates separate browser profiles for multiple accounts, with individual fingerprint settings, cookies and proxy configurations. It gives you a way to maintain each account setup on one computer. WGBrowser changes fingerprint parameters inside its browser engine and supports Windows and Apple silicon Macs for managing stores, social media accounts and advertising accounts.

You may also see the term anti-detect browser. The useful distinction is between browser parameters, stored login data and the network exit. Each affects a different part of the browsing session. Understanding those parts helps you configure a profile and check what is happening when a website requests a new login or reports a connection problem.

What is a browser fingerprint?

A browser exposes information about its software and device when you visit a website. Examples include the user agent, Client Hints, screen dimensions, language, time zone and graphics capabilities. Sites can also read characteristics through Canvas and audio APIs. The combination of these values is commonly called a browser fingerprint.

A fingerprint is different from a cookie stored by a website. Deleting cookies does not change the device parameters your browser exposes, and changing a proxy does not automatically change all browser information. Inspect stored login data, fingerprint configuration and exit IP separately when checking a profile.

WGBrowser can change more than twenty fingerprint parameters inside the engine and generate a configuration from a device template. The browser fingerprint guide explains these parameters and ways to inspect them. Keep the configuration associated with the profile purpose rather than generating a new one every time you open the account.

How does profile isolation work?

Each WGBrowser profile has its own browser process and data directory. Its saved fingerprint settings, cookies and proxy configuration are managed together. Reopening the same profile reuses its stored setup and data, so you can return to the account without creating another browser profile for every session.

Device templates cover Windows 10, Windows 11 and Apple silicon Macs. Switching a template updates related parameters such as UA, Client Hints, fonts and GPU values as a set. Canvas, audio and ClientRects support stable noise. See the fingerprint settings for the available controls.

Configure the proxy separately when the profile needs a particular network exit. WGBrowser supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, with exit IP checks and options for time zone, language and location to follow the exit. WebRTC can be restricted to the proxy or disabled. The proxy guide explains how these settings fit together.

Why manage multiple accounts in separate profiles?

Switching accounts inside the same browser profile can retain website data and device parameters from the previous session. Operators may also lose track of which account is active. A fixed profile for each store, customer or social media account gives you separate login data and a clearly named place to open that account.

Use profile names and groups to record the platform and business purpose. Once the browser opens, check the signed-in account before publishing a post, changing an ad campaign or editing a store. That check remains useful even when multiple profiles already have separate cookies and proxy settings.

Browser separation covers only part of account management. The credentials and business details you submit, the network exit and your activity remain relevant to the platform. An antidetect browser manages browser configuration and data; it cannot guarantee how a platform evaluates or restricts an account.

How is it different from incognito or Chrome profiles?

Incognito handles a temporary browsing session apart from ordinary browsing data. Opening an incognito window does not automatically create a saved device template for an account or assign a different proxy exit. If you only need to view a page temporarily outside your usual session, that may be all the browsing separation the task requires.

Chrome profiles can retain different sign-ins and browsing data. Creating several profiles does not automatically add device templates, fingerprint noise or proxy exit checks to each one. Assess whether your work needs those controls, as well as collaboration and recovery, when deciding how to manage multiple accounts.

WGBrowser brings fingerprint settings, cookies, proxies and team access into the profile workflow. For a comparison that also covers network routing and operating systems, read antidetect browsers, VPNs and virtual machines. Match the tool to the task instead of treating the number of open windows as the only requirement.

Who uses an antidetect browser?

Cross-border sellers can keep a profile and proxy configuration for each store. Advertising teams can organize account sessions and exits by client. Social media operators can keep multiple accounts separate for account warm-up and publishing. Groups organize the profiles by platform or customer, while window sync handles selected operations that need to be repeated across windows.

For shared work, administrators assign profile access and permissions. Occupied profiles show usage information, and login data sync or profile sharing can support handoffs between operators or computers. The team guide covers access assignments. Check who receives a profile and which business accounts the assignment includes.

Developers can use automation plugins, Local API or MCP after checking the manual workflow and profile configuration. This makes it easier to distinguish a script failure from a proxy issue or an account state that needs attention. Use the run panel or script logs to inspect the step where a task stopped.

How do I set up my first profile?

Start with one account and keep a clear record of its profile, proxy and purpose. If a website reports a problem, identify whether it concerns the connection, sign-in or page action before changing several settings at once. Keeping the setup consistent makes subsequent checks easier to compare.

  1. Download the standard client for your computer and register. Create a profile, enter its name and platform, and select a device template. Use this profile consistently for the account you intend to manage.
  2. Add the proxy and check its exit IP. Review the time zone, language and location settings, then open the website. Confirm the active account and complete the login or two-step verification it requires.
  3. Close the profile and check its synchronization status, then reopen it and inspect the saved login state. Before switching computers, use the cloud sync guide to check the selected data and verify what the other device restores.

FAQ

What does an antidetect browser do?

It manages separate browser profiles with their own fingerprint settings, cookies and proxy configurations. WGBrowser uses an individual browser process and data directory for each profile, with settings saved for reuse. This supports ongoing account management, while account details, business activity and platform decisions remain outside the browser isolation itself.

Do I still need a proxy with an antidetect browser?

If your work requires a selected network exit for a profile, you still need to configure that connection. Fingerprint settings and exit IP are separate. WGBrowser supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 proxies, checks the exit IP and can set the profile time zone, language and location to follow it.

Is an antidetect browser the same as incognito mode?

Incognito focuses on temporary browsing sessions. It does not automatically create a persistent device template and proxy setup for every account. An antidetect browser manages saved profiles you can reopen, with fingerprint configuration and browsing data attached to each profile. Choose based on whether your work needs those ongoing account settings.

Can an antidetect browser prevent account bans?

No browser can guarantee an account outcome. WGBrowser separates browser fingerprint configurations, cookies and proxy settings by profile. Platforms also consider account information, their own rules and actual activity. Evaluate the browser configuration and your account workflow separately, and complete any account verification the platform requires.
